IN GOOD FAITH SEMINARS

The dialogue involves two or three events per year with equal representation from the business, academia and religious leaders of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities. Each event focuses on a theme mutually important to all three faith communities and is addressed by three prominent experts from each representative faith followed by broad audience discussion. The overall goal is to create a significant center of gravity for fostering deeper mutual understanding and trust among Jews, Christians and Muslims. For nine years the program has been co-sponsored by the Catholic Theological Union (an affiliate of DePaul University) and the First Analysis Institute. In 2016 the program was recognized by the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago with its Interreligious Leadership Award. The origin of the program was a seminar series offered by First Analysis Institute in the 1990's designed to address the complementarity of the differences between the three Abrahamic faith traditions in worshiping the one Abrahamic God.
