Founded in 1968, Catholic Theological Union - one of the largest Catholic theology graduate schools – offers a dynamic, ecumenical environment for lay and ordained ministry that emphasizes academic excellence, social justice, interfaith dialogue, and advancing interreligious understanding.

After meeting with the Children of Abraham Coalition’s leadership, the First Analysis Institute (FAI) recognized a strong alignment with its mission to foster interfaith understanding and, as a result, supported the Coalition’s Peace Camp initiative.
Based in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, the Children of Abraham Coalition is a nonprofit dedicated to building understanding, respect, and relationships among Christians, Jews, and Muslims of all ages. Its mission is to organize events where members of these communities can learn about one another’s traditions while working together to build a world of salaam, shalom—peace. The Coalition brings together the three Abrahamic faiths for dialogue, service, and interfaith witness; in an era of widespread misinformation, it seeks to be a reliable resource on these sacred traditions and to cultivate communities marked by religious diversity.
Peace Camp is a two-day program for Jewish, Muslim, and Christian students in grades 6–8. Participants build friendships, explore each other’s religious traditions, and develop skills to stand against faith-based prejudice and bullying. The camp is led by an interfaith team of high school and college students; at each religious center, leaders offer tours of sacred spaces, and youth leaders guide activities that help campers explain their own faith to others.
Peace Camp continues beyond the initial gathering: campers and leaders reconnect throughout the year through monthly virtual reunions or service afternoons to deepen interfaith friendships, literacy, and reverence.
