On September 8, 2025, the Parliament of the World’s Religions, in partnership with the First Analysis Institute of Integrative Studies (FAI), hosted the first session of the Tri-Abrahamic Dialogue on the Climate Crisis. Jewish, Christian, and Muslim perspectives explored how sacred texts can guide collective climate action.

On September 8, 2025, the Parliament of the World’s Religions, in partnership with the First Analysis Institute of Integrative Studies (FAI), launched the inaugural session of the Tri-Abrahamic Dialogue on the Climate Crisis. This five-part webinar series brings together Jewish, Christian, and Muslim perspectives to explore how foundational texts can inspire compassionate and broad-based climate action.

The first panel featured Rabbi Jennie Rosenn (founder and CEO of Dayenu), Fr. Joshtrom Kureethadam (advisor to the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development), and Dr. Ibrahim Ozdemir (interim vice president of academic affairs at American Islamic College). Moderated by Ashley Kitisya, legal expert and programs manager for Africa at the Laudato Si’ Movement, the discussion delved into how texts like Laudato Si’ and Al-Mizancan ground effective climate action in light of the wisdom of the Abrahamic faiths.

The series aims to foster interfaith collaboration and collective action on climate change and will culminate in an edited volume of contributor essays.

We are pleased to share the video recording of this insightful conversation. Watch the full discussion: The Tri-Abrahamic Dialogue on the Climate Crisis: What Do Our Faiths Demand?
